Jeffrey Jay Foxx is an ethnographic photographer of international repute. He has journeyed around the world for educational publishers and development organizations like the United Nations and the InterAmerican Foundation. One of these assignments led Foxx to focus on the art of the Maya which he has pursued for the last 40 years. He has worked for National Geographic Society and LIFE Magazine, as well as producing three lavishly illustrated books with the prestigious publisher Harry N. Abrams, Inc.
